The Drum Crusher Model VERSAPAC-90-EXP will crush a 55-gallon drum down to 2-2.5″ in height greatly reducing storage space requirements and transport fees. Heavy-duty Welded construction; all structural components are made with heavy steel plates.
The unit is designed to Cush inside Cubic Yard boxes to reduce cardboard, rags, or other items. The Dual platen allows the customer to remove one plate so they can crush inside drums to reduce waste.
The VERSAPAC-90-EXP is a multifunction unit that can do cubic yard boxes, drum crushing, and compacting inside drums.
The unit comes complete with a motor starter, Motor Overload, door safety switch, and an oil sight gauge with temperature indicator. In the enclosed explosion-proof electrical cabinet. Automatic timer to shut down the unit when left running.
The enclosed upper chamber houses the hoses and auto-cycle valve. This limits the exposure to the operator if hydraulic hoses ever burst. It is enclosed behind the wall.
Safety features include a door EXP closed switch; the unit cannot operate if the door is not closed. Hose enclosed in crusher chamber upper section. Timer to shut down unit so the oil does not get excessive heat in circulating oil when not in use.
