DW2C-HYD Drum washer with Hydraulic loading.

Drum washer with Hydraulic loading.

The drum and barrel washer will wash the interior of the drum with waster or solvent depending on options added to washing system. This unit can do 55 USG drums or 200-liter drums. The hydraulic lifts system and rotating station moves the drum or keg-barrel into the washer at a 180-degree rotation.

Once drum is rotated into the washer the limit switch turns off the hydraulic system, so it is not running when not in uses and reduces overall power consumption being used. Now that the drum or Keg is in the washer the operator closes the door and starts the washer by pressing the start push button to activate the cycles.

Most cycles operations are adjustable in running times. Wash cycle times run from 0-60 minutes. So once the setpoint time is put into the color HMI screen, the washer will retain the cycle times until customer changes them. This will be true to exhausting cycle, rinse cycles and nitrogen purging cycles. Other options can be added to washer depending on customers needs.

Each washer has a PLC platform controller to ensure that all safeties are met before system will start. There are many safeties that are incorporated in standard units and more in solvent based units. Some safeties are failed closed actuated valves, Air pressure safety sensor, E-stop safety switch, washer door closed sensor and Pneumatic door locking actuated cylinders.

The interior washing is done with a high impacting rotating wash nozzle to clean inside the barrel or drum. Electrically operated washer come standard with wash pump flows of 10-20 GPM at 100-120 PSI.

The 200-liter drum washer discharges the waste and liquids that wash out of the interior of the drum and down into the lower washer V-bottom chamber. The designed of the washer helps with materials and liquids to drain down to the discharge pump. The discharge pump returns the liquid and materials from the wash tank that customer supplies or SRS supplies.

Washer High level sensor general operations is there to shut down the unit incase the washer levels start to elevate in the washer chamber. The washer is designed so that as fast as the liquids enterer the washer it is returning the liquids back to the source tank. The added safety is there in case rags or other larger plugging items that will be stopped at screen dose not let washer overflow.

This revolutionary engineered design.

Rugged – Each washer is designed and engineered to with the best materials available. SRS uses 304-stainless steel and adds folds in the material to increase the strength of the washers. The Stainless steel increases the life of the unit and can be cleaned up with ease. SRS designed equipment uses higher quality pumps for washing and discharging. The hydraulic rotary actuated valve is over sided to increase the life of the parts and reduce break down of the parts.

Economical – The interior drum washer is set up to use high efficiency motors to reduce electrical consumption and are set up for any country voltage. By using SRS Designed Equipment’s washer you reduce your costs of drums that have hazardous materials inside them by washing them out first so that you can dispose of them and nonhazardous waste drums. By washing them out and cleaning them, you now can reuse the drums or send them off as metal scrap materials at a lower cost of disposal.
