TW-500 Tote Washer
The TW-500 is a low-pressure washer that can-do solvents or water washing. The washer is designed to wash interior IBC totes or other brand of tote tanks with bottom drains. The wash nozzle rotates and impacts the materials inside the tote tank. When the washer starts its interior washing cycle and the discharge pneumatic pump also starts to remove the materials away from the tote tank.
Each tote washer can do many more types of tanks from Mixers to kettle type tanks. The TW-500 unit circulates the liquids form an external washing tank. The DT- tanks can be a Dual tank so that one side is wash liquids and other side is clean rinsing liquids. All clean rinsing liquids will return to wash tank side for use in next washing cycle. Optional rinsing is offered if customer wants to splash off any film that happen due to reused dirty wash liquids.
The washer head is controlled by a hydraulic lifting system that allows the wash head to elevate above the tote as the totes are being placed below the wash head. Then the operation lowers the wash head on to the tote and the lid gasket seals to the top of the tote. Once lid sensor is activated the washer knows that the wash head is down and not customer can start the system.
If the lid down sensor is not seen the washer will not start and unit will fault, all faults will show on HMI screen that lid is not down and sealed.
Washer discharge pump is protected by Y-strainer that captures any rags, bolts, metal parts or just large chunks that can damage the pneumatic pump. There is also an inline low-level sensor to make sure the totes liquids are be removed.
High level lid sensor. We have a backup level sensor to ensure if the tote ever dose fill up and the high-level sensor (HLS) is activated and the washer is shut down. The HMI screen will show that the (HLS)is activated and washer is shut off for safety.
Washer average cycle time for interior washing is between 5-10 min depending on build-up. Rinse cycles run 30 sections to 1 Min total time.
