DS-50HP
Drum shredder DS-50HP is designed to shred up to 55 USG drums. Smaller drum container also can be shredded through the DS-50HP. The drum can be loaded into the large bin on top or feed conveyor can be added to take the drum up and drop in into the chamber.
The shredder is elevated high enough so that the shredded materials can drop directly into the lower customer supplied dump bin.
The shredder is designed so that if the drum is jamming the shredder teeth the PLC automatically reverses the shredder to remove the jammed materials. Then the unit starts again to shred the drum.
There is also a plastic drum option that has a cylinder push the plastic drum down onto the teeth of the shredder system to catch the drum. The cylinder and platen push’s down and make’s the plastic drum caught in the teeth, once it started the drum gets pulled into the shredder. Plastic drums without this (option) bounce around on top of the teeth.
