SRH-20 Distillation unit.
SRH-20 distillation unit.
The SRH-20 solvent recovery unit is set up to work with waste that gets thick when the removal of the recycled solvent from it. Solvent removal from the waste like (Inks/Paints/Adhesives and other waste) can build up on the solvent recovery unit lake a thick sludge. The SRH has scrappers that remove the thick materials from the surface area of the solvents internal vessel and allows the heating to make better contact with the solvent inside. It blends the solvent and waste to keep the heating consistent. Depending on waste the customer can recover up to 90 % of the solvents back and reduce your disposal costs.
The none sparking scrappers rotate around the internal distillation vessel like a mixer. The heavy-duty gearbox turns the shaft and Large three scrapper blade system. The scrapper blade on the SRH-20 on average are replaced every two to three years and reduces time on maintenance. unlike other competitors that need them changed more often and causing customer more in maintenance costs.
The gearbox is mounted direct to the scrapper shaft on top of the unit. it has a reduction gear to reduce the load on the motor and reducing the size of the motor needed. The SRH-20 has flanged top so that the unit can be opened, and scrappers can be removed with lid. This makes it easy for replacement of scrappers, by just unbolting the flange at the top of the unit and removing everything at once.
The scrapper blades are spring loaded to make sure pressure is put on them as they rotate around the internal wall scrapping off the buildup of waste and mixes the waste and solvents around for better contact with heating surfaces
Each unit comes with a 4-inch discharge valve at the bottom to remove the sludges when done, the scrappers turn on when discharge valve is open to assist with removal of waste.
The still has a 30 Gallon working level for the solvent inside the vessel. This is controlled with SRS working level sensor that opens and closed the fill valve.
The PLC controlled program ensures that the operations are running correct to factory settings. The HMI screen is shown as a P&ID of operations well in progress.
The SRH-20 still can run in auto mode or batch mode. Auto mode continuously refills unit as the solvent is distilled off tell the sludge adjustable set point is met. Then the unit goes in to shut down mode. Batch operations run in single fill and distilling. The customer fills the unit automatically and then turns off filling cycle. At that point the unit will recycle the solvent tell sludge set point is reached and shut down.
SRH-20 Base, the still is elevated on a base so that customer can put a 5-gallon pail under unit to discharge the waste into, this lower base it to reduce height of the overall unit and no need for latter with platform.
SRH-20 optional Base, the still is elevated on a base so that customer can put a 55-gallon drum under unit to discharge the waste into. This operational unit will include elevated base and latter with platform.
